Making Sushi at Home

Don’t worry if you do not have all the ingredients! Here are some references to help. You can purchase a Bamboo Mat on Amazon as well as our Seaweed Sheets! If you need to make Sushi Rice follow this tutorial by Ali from Gimme Some Oven. You can purchase Sushi rice at a Japanese market if you do not feel like making it from scratch.

What you'll need

  1. Seaweed sheets! (Nori)

  2. Sushi Rice.

  3. Bamboo sushi mat.

  4. Plastic wrap (cling/saran wrap)(Optional)

  5. Fillings (Salmon, Tuna, etc)

  6. Soy sauce.

  7. Toasted sesame seeds.

  8. Wasabi + Pickled Ginger.

  • Fiber-rich foods may help with diabetes. This is due to the fact that high amounts of fiber can help regulate blood glucose levels and insulin levels.The addition of seaweed to the diet may help increase a person’s fiber intake without a large increase in calories.
